Christmas Party Invitations

Aren’t you excited to receive Christmas Invitations soon? I feel giddy every time I think of Christmas. I’m so in love with Christmas and now that I have a son, Christmas is brighter for all of us. I know there will be a lot of parties so parties mean Party Christmas Invitations and I have a feelign a will be organizing a party or two. So of course I need to think of a nice Christmas Party Invitation for each party. I’ve seen unqiue and exclusive designs available only at the Cards Shoppe. Very late post. I already forgot to blog about my nephew’s party at Jollibee The Fort. I was browsing the folders in my desktop while waiting for this ball lock pins site I’m searching. This was celebrated on the day of my sister in law’s 27th birthday, since my nephew’s birthday falls on a Monday, the 26th, they’ve decided to celebrate it on a Saturday. It was all fun and games, I even danced because I was a loser in a game. Bleh. We thought not much guests will be attending but halfway of the party, guests arrived and the place was packed in  a blink of the eye. Here are some photos to share:

Our son poking Jollibee’s eye, everybody who saw it was laughing / During the start of the program the crew danced and sang, it was my first time to see this and I must say, it was a great idea and they did a great job!

The birthday boy talking to the Bee / Dustin all over the place. I got really tired chasing after him and he even fell and bump his face on a chair, resulting to a big wound on his upper lip at namaga talaga ang lip nya! Kids!

My sister in law said that it was a great idea that they held it in the morning, the kids were very active and were up and about and very game. It was a nice and jolly party at Jollibee.

… but very FUN!!! I still have a hangover from yesterday even if I didn’t drink, being with great friends really made me high, better than drinking alcohol!!! /I did a lot of laughing yesterday. I just can’t get enough of my 2 groups of friends! It’s really nice to have time for myself and be with girls for a change. I had a blast doing shopping in the morning then lunch with my online friends and just hang out with them in my favorite coffee shop the whole afternoon. I had traffic going home though and I almost lost my cool, imagine from Greenbelt to EDSA I spent more than an hour? Hideous right? But I was happy to see my boys and then my childhood brat friends so the traffic was long forgotten. I had tons of photos to share and so much kwento to tell but today is Dustin’s vaccine day and we have a long way to drive from Taguig to Quezon City so I better prepare so we can be the first in line.

Yes, I need want to blog about the Daddies first kasi save the best for last di ba? Since they named me as really quiet talaga in person, might as well post na lang what I observed in the party, ganun talaga ako eh, I just love to sit in a corner sa party then watch everybody. Anyway, there’s not so much to tell about the dads… They just went there with us (hopefully di sila napilitan), ate and actually watched over the kids while we were so windang of meeting each other. Except for Mai who carried Asher almost the whole night, kami (including me) windang sa kakapakinig sa bawat isa, so the dads had to watch over the kids because the nannies couldn’t keep up with all the diving and swimming to a waterless pool. Kaloka!

Anyway, since I started with Asher sa previous post, I will also start with his Dad, Paul ni Mai.

Paul is the guy on the left. I find him relly quiet and doesn’t smile that much. Well, most of the dads didn’t smile that night, either naiingayan na sila sa amin (ay sa kanila lang pala! LOL) or talagang ganun lang kasi di naman nila party yun eh. I find him very reserve, more reserve than Mai and may hawig sila ni Asher actually.

And since si Jojo ni Alpha, is also in the picture, might as well write about him na din. I find this guy very patient and kaagapay talaga ni Alpha in taking care of Estong. Estong can be a handful and parang si Jojo tames him more than Alpha, makulit rin kasi si Alpha eh, kalog din kasi. Daddy-ng Daddy talaga ang dating. He is from Mapua just like what Alpha told us pero di siya mamukhaan ng asawa ko unlike Thea and Peachy daw na nakikita nya talaga sa campus, but one thing my Hubby told me, mukha daw mabait si Jojo and parang okay daw maging kaibigan and I think so too.

Si Howell ni Abie. The official photographer of the night. Not at all shy with all the noisy women around him, handang kumuha ng picture nung gusto na namin magpose after the exchange gifts. Yun pala I learned from Aggie that he is a freelance photographer. Kaya pala sanay sa photo addicts like us. Daddy-ng Daddy to Bela when the poor little kid had to wake up kasi pack up na ang party, Bela was crying and Howell dropped everything he was doing helped his wife in pacifying their daughter, ikaw ba naman kasi ang magising eh ang himbing na ng tulog mo di ba? You have to give it also to him for being very patient habang may mood si Bela kasi kakagising lang nya.

Si Sherwin ni Joy. One thing I thought when I saw this family, kaya pala mukhang Indian si Sandy eh, di mukhang pure Filipinos ang parents nya. Sherwin looks Indian too, I have Indian relatives and I must say he really looks like one. Tall and yes, mini-me nya si Sandy lalo na sa mata. They (Him and Sandy) arrived later than Joy and sat in the dining and eventually boses lang nila ni Edil ang naririnig ko. Si Edil ang kakwentuhan nya the whole night.

And since kasama ang asawa ko sa picture, might as well blog about him too. Si Denon, contrary to what he was at the party is not a shy person, medyo opposite kami when it comes to parties, he is definitely not a shy person and acquaintances like this one doesn’t make him nervous and fidgety like I do. But just the supportive husband that he is, he lets me be with the mommies and he watched Dustin pretty well. He wasn’t able to talk to the Daddies which he somehow regret because he was busy looking after our son who always attempted to dive in the waterless pool. Oh well, maybe next time, may poker na mangyayare na talaga!

Si Amiel ni Kathy. Tingin ko kay Olin, Daddy’s girl. Look at this photo, it says it all. But, yes there’s a big BUT, I find him a disciplinarian too. I sat in the sofa near where he was sitting and he always watched over Olin and talagang sasawayin nya once in a while si Olin pag may gagawing di nya magustuhan. Shempre mga bata, agawan sa toys at talagang sasawayin niya si Olin or he will call Kathy to reprimand Olin if he thought what Olin did is not really nice.

Si Mike ni Thea. Super quiet, as in! Parang siya yung boy version ko sa party. I swear I saw myself in him. Kung ako halos di mapaalis sa sofa na inupuan ko, si Mike di umalis sa chair na inupuan nya. Very opposite sila ni Thea, kasi si Thea social butterfly, pareho naman ng asawa ko. Thea told us that Mike usually needs to warm up with the people around him before you can see him talk, just like me! And yes, Mikee is Mike’s mini me. Kahit sa pagiging behave at tahimik, pareho sila. Siguro ang namana lang ni Mikee kay Thea? Adorable din kasi si Thea, very likeable just like Mikee… ayan Thea ha! LOL.

Si Edil ni Aggie. Ang tangkad. No wonder their kids are tall kids kasi Edil and Aggie are really tall people. It’s really nice to see a very Daddy’s girl, Martha who will run to Edil when she receives a really nice gift, yan ang ginawa ni Martha nung party. But I can see that he also has a very nice relationship with his son just like here in the picture, in the beginning of the party sila ang tag team, just sitting contentedly in the corner of the room playing something in Aggie’s laptop, that was until Sherwin came in and boy these 2 Dads just hit it off! Super kwentuhan to the max, mas nakapagkwentuhan pa ata sila ng husto kesa sa amin eh! Hahaha!

Did I forget a Dad? Well, Peachy’s Gelo wasn’t around. Sayang, kasi Denon was looking forward in seeing him kasi he recognized him as a batchmate eh, parang naging classmate pa ata daw siya ni Denon.

My first impression soon…

Special ang aking first impressions for the Mommies kaya unahin ko muna ang very cute and rowdy kids from the party. Nabuhay talaga ang party not because of the chikahans but because of the kids that we have to look after kasi once in a while may babalabag sa floor or may parang nahulog sa horsie-horsie or parang may nag-aaway na at nagaagawan sa doggie ni Martha, that I thought was Olin’s. May the doggie rest in peace nga, just like what Aggie said.  

Si Asher ni Mai. The youngest among the kids, for a baby, he is so quiet, I was so surprised (nasanay kasi ako sa anak ko na may colic nung baby). He is so behaved that day. I only heard him cry when the party was almost over at halatang super antok na sya. Kawawang bata, nangarag ata sa ingay ng lahat kaya di makapikit ang mata. So siksik and very cute, nung hinawakan ko ang kamay nya, ay kagigil. Ang lambot, sarap kagatin. Nung tinabihan ko si Asawa sa party, he whispered, sino ang tatay ni Asher (na buhat ni Mai) that time… Kasi he looks Japanese daw.

Si Mikee ni Thea. If I have curly hair like Mikee’s? Di ko ipaparebond, promise! Ang nipis ng hair at ang ganda ng curls and when I touched her hair? Ang soft. But this is not the only thing I noticed… She acts more mature than her age. She is very well behaved. I saw her sitting on the bed lang playing with the Lego blocks. Very reserve pero hindi rin siya shy sa other kids kasi I saw her play with the other kids rin pero when she has to rest or just be, ayun she will go with her yaya tapos uupo lang sa bed.

SI Bela ni Abie. Mana kay mommy nya ang slim din. She is so petite pero wag ka, when the pool was set up, hala nakigulo din siya. Estong even accidentally nadaganan sya and I was so surprised na di siya umiyak, instead nung nakawala na sya from Kuya Estong, tumayo, smoothened her skirt and fixed her hair. Awww! Very poised pa rin. Speaks English fluently and can only understand English as well. Ito rin ang pinapractice namin with Dustin right now, I hope we can do that like what Howell and Abie did with Bela. And oh, ang tindi matulog nito, I was looking for her nung gabi na and she was sleeping soundly in bed kahit tumatalbog talbog ang kama and all of us were very noisy. Sana si Dustin mahawa mo sa kahimbingan matulog!

Si Martha ni Aggie. One word, spunky! I swear this kid has full of life. Very active, ngayon lang ako nakakita ng girl who can play like a boy. Well, she is very girly pa rin, naka-skirt at tatakbo sa tatay like any other daddy’s girl pero wag ka, dumadive din siya sa pool kahit na sahig ang babagsakan. Nagulat talaga ako. And what Aggie said about her being very expressive, naku I saw that while she was talkign to Aggie, super ang facial expressions nya iba-iba. Ang tangkad na bata, parang 4 years old na.

Si Sandy ni Joy. This girl is just plain adorable. Very articulate in her age. I can always see her and Aggie talking habang nasa kama sila. She speaks fluent English as well and though most of the ladies think that she looks more of her dad, I actually see more of Joy in her. Hey being very dainty and tall, modeling can be seen in the future. Mana sa mommy nya ang haba ng legs. I wanted to kiss her at pupugin siya like what Joy did with my son kaya lang hiya ako kasi baka matakot siya sa akin since hindi pa nya ako kilala. Next time, I hope to give this very pretty young lady a peck on the cheek.

SI Olin ni Kathy. When you see Olin, you will think na she is shy and very quiet pero wag ka, what you see in this picture is her. She has a bag full of surprises. As in nagulat ako nung super likot at kulit na niya. Parang her body is too small nakakatakot baka mabaliaan sya pero ang lakas nya ha! Talagang super tulak at takbo at nakikipgakulitan kahit sa mas malalaki sa kanya. Even si Martha napasuko nya. There was a time when Denon and I had to hold her kasi she jumped right in the pool tapos after jumping in gusto naman nya tumalon palabas, aatakihin ako sa puso. When she was a bit grumpy kasi gusto nya kunin yung horsie so super simangot pero pag andian na ang camera, she will flash her usual smile tapos off to being grumpy again. Para syang may switch to smile for the cam, aliw talaga ako!

Si Estong ni Alpha. One word? Frisky! Ang batang walang pahinga. I was amazed how lively this kiddo is. Contrary to most of his photos like the one above, naku when you get to meet him parang ako ang napagod sa kanya. Lalaki talaga sa likot. I really love his hair too, think and super straight. I think he looks more like Jojo than Alpha.

Si Kuya Mato ni Aggie. I said Kuya kasi siya ang pinaka Kuya among the kids. Very behaved. He was actually contented to stay in the dining table while playing in his mommy’s laptop. He had to move the laptop when it’s time for dinner so he had to go to the other side of the bed, put the laptop on top of the chair and play some more. Hindi rin mahiyain ang batang ito, when it’s time to exchange gifts, he happily handed their gifts to the kids. He even stayed in the bed with us. If si Martha, daddy’s girl, si Matthew, mommy’s girl. I hope Dustin will be like Matthew, very clingy kay Aggie, I can really tell. And gosh, when he received his books? Super ngiti talaga, a sign that he is indeed a bookworm. Matalinong bata.

It was fun seeing the kids had fun, it seems that they enjoyed the party more than we did. This party was actually for them, look at these photos… The rocked the place!

This is the pool brought by Thea that occupied the space na pinagkaguluhan ng mga bata, kung saan nagdive sina Martha at Estong.

Ang doggie na akala ko kay Olin, yun pala kay Martha kaya gusto nya buhayin, ayan oh parang nag-si-CPR si Martha.

Ayan nagkakagulo sa doggie. Everybody were looking up kasi si doggie, nagfo-float. Bwahaha!

Yang ang horsie na magkasundong sinakyan nina Olin at Estong pero ayaw nilang may ibang sumakay. LOL. Ang magkapatid sa kakulitan, nakakatuwa!

My son na kahit mataba ang katawan ay di kinayang makipag-agawan kay doggie kaya ayan nakatingin lang siya sa itaas. And him playing with the girls in the pool.

Ayan si Dustin grouped with girls. Nakakaaliw, ngayon lang nakipaglaro si Dustin sa mga girls. Ayan si Estong nakasali na rin with the kids.

Let me tell you what happened before and during the party, Part Deux will be about the celebrities and their equally dashing hubbies and kids…

Our Morning started slow, Dustin had his haircut done by his Tito Ian. It wasn’t that perfect since Dustin moved too much but I was happy with how he looked after the cut. Fresher and cleaner. Anyway, we planned in going early to the venue, I told you, I hate being the center of attention and if we are early, I will only have to meet with Joy first, who was the party organizer, but my son had other plans that day, he didn’t take a nap in the morning so he was so sleepy after we had lunch, good thing he already took a bath and the husband as well so when Kathy texted me that the room wasn’t available yet, I was really glad because my son was taking his nap. I took a shower and prepared all the stuff we had to bring while the boys were sleeping. Dustin woke up around 3:30 PM, I panicked a bit, we were late not to mention we got lost, we live around the area and couldn’t find the place, I was so confident that I will find the way, I should’ve printed the map. To make the long story short, we found Citadel Inn but had to park in the building beside the Inn. I ran into Thea and her family in the parking area but we had to go ahead since they just came out of their car.

When we got in the room everybody was already there. The kids are all over the place, the dads sitting everywhere and the mommies lying in bed. I scanned the room and didn’t see Alpha, so I asked Joy, I didn’t notice Alpha who was lying beside Joy, peeking behind her cam. I was really glad to finally meet everyone.

I noticed that not too many were really chatty pero sina Aggie at Joy, definitely bumabangka when I got there. Then the kids were really louder than the adults. As in they dove sa pool kahit sahig ang bagsak nila, they were throwing balls everywhere, running all over the place na crowded na nga nakuha pa nilang tumakbo. Shouting and screaming, all we did was look after the kiddos. When Peachy came, she was late, very understandable naman because she is already 36 weeks pregnant. I’m so amazed nga kasi I had a hard pregnancy and itong si Peachy kahit ang laki na ng tyan ang dami pa ring bitbit pagdating.

Mas naging riot when we had to eat. We had to take turns in going to the table for food since the place was really small for everybody. I only get to eat the pork barbecue and the embutido that tasted good especially the barbecue. I was too busy to even pig out. Anyway, the party even became louder when we had to exchange gifts.

Because of… Mrs. Gong Yoo, Kathy with Suri, Mrs. Gabby Concepcion, Mrs. Edward Cullen, Regine Tolentino, Donita Rose, Scarlet and Mommy Mai with Cute Asher, I had a blast last Saturday. Sana maulit ito… And hopefully may ma-add pa sa celebrity list ko.
