I carry around something similar to this in my purse these days…

I really try so hard to be a Mother Earth advocate by not accepting plastic bags when shopping. I bring so many organic bags when going to the grocery as well. My only dilemma is using plastic garbage bags. I still buy those for our trash. I hope I can find a way to totally eliminate plastic in our household. Anyway, it was in the news the other day about our government promoting the no plastic use in all commercial establishments. I hope this will push through!
There is the scorching sun during the Summer and there are those unexpected rain showers during Rainy season. What is the weather today? Very rainy and I love it. Though I saw a lot of roadside assistance on the road this morning, maybe because of the heavy rains, it did not bother me. I forgot my umbrella and it’s my first day to go back to work after my 15-days leave of absence and I must say, the bed weather didn’t help this morning. Our A/C is blasting right now and I am having a hard time lifting my butt to walk because I am very sleepy. I got used to taking a nap after lunch with my son, I’m fighting my sleepyhead. hope tomorrow will be a lot hotter. I love the rains, only if I am at home.
I experience traffic everyday. Imagine going through traffic for like 1-2 hours in going to work and going home? It’s like 20 hours of wasted time every working week! I could have done something fruitful with those 20 hours. Hideous right? My way is usually in EDSA and yes, I blame it on those overflowing buses. Going everywhere, swerving all over the place competing to each other just to get passengers. The government should do something about this. The government should handle them instead of making it privately owned. They should go online and look for bus for sale websites that offer great looking buses that go one by one or like 3-5 buses in every terminal that has time when to take passengers and leave for travel. It will be much more organized and commuters will be more disciplined taking the bus in terminals. In other countries like the United States or Canada, they have this and they can manage quite well. I’m just tired of waking up early just to arrive late to work because of these buses who cause so much headache.
See the buses piling up on the top part of this photo creating bottle neck roads for private vehicles like ours. Darn!
