Aside from the rv repair expenses they have for last month, my friend in California is actually thinking of having their garage renovated when Winter is over. Their house, including the garage has been built since 2000 and they think that it is time to make a few renovations starting in the garage and then slowly renovate the whole house. My friend talked to our interior designer friend who is based here in the Philippines to help her design the whole house including the garage after consulting their architect friend who is based in California. The two professionals will be communicating via internet, so high tech! I can’t wait to see the finish newly renovated house. By the way, she wants a garage like this…

I admire a friend who is a collector. He collects so much stuff but still manage to organize everything at home. He collects perfumes, stamps, Hotwheels cars and lamps. Just recently he added interest in collecting custom made coins that he keeps neatly in two chests in his bedroom. He bought the chest out from a local antique store that I showed him last year. I didn’t know he will come back there to buy some wooden chest. Think I will buy one for our bedroom too, I think it’s a nice thing to stock some important stuff and still maintain that style. Next week, he will bring me to the stores where he buys some of the coins, I might find something interesting to collect for myself. Who knows.

That’s me with her circa 2005. People only had the nicest words when they saw me with make up on that special day and I thank her for making me feel pretty on my wedding day. Being a single mom is just hard and I applaud her. I pray for Mio’s health and I also hope they will be successful in helping Lucas.

Friends are getting married and it is so nice for them to settle down, I think our age are the marrying age and they should not be wasting time especially if they already think they found their match, they should really go for it. Some are also planning to get married next year. It funny how we go out on lunch dates talking about kids and husbands now, when we used to talk about Hollywood and shopping before. We were so into girly stuff before that I wasn’t expecting that we will be talking about house loans and even car title loan, a very quick and easy loan by the way, because our friend kept on bragging about it last month when we had our coffee date. These topics are something that I don’t think I will ever understand until I got married. It is pretty awesome that you can talk about parenting issues and marital problems or even baby products to your friends. Well, we don’t see very often so when we have our meet ups, we tackle almost everything and that includes our concerns in our family life but of course we don’t forget the stuff that we love to talk about which are shoes, bags and fashion. the last time we saw each other, a friend of us was showing her new Louis Vuitton bag and was telling us how great Cebu is, she frequently visits the place because her boyfriend works there. So this Friday, we will be seeing each other again for a friend’s daughter who will have her 1st birthday party. I am expecting to talk about so many stuff, including my nanny issues, my son going to school for the first time this June and my new photography freelance business. I’m very excited to see them since I haven’t seen them for quite some time now.

I have a friend who will be throwing her 30th birthday bash and as much as I want to attend her party, it will be held in the United States and I have no idea where she got the idea of requiring her lady guests to wear slutty costumes while the guys wearing sports attires.I bet it will be very bad to the eyes and with her friends in the US to be game all the time, I am pretty nervous of the pictures that I will see from her. She will be hiring a photographer and a caterer then she will have a photo booth where they can have sexy pictorials. She has been asking me what else I can contribute for her BIG 3-0 party and I sure hope I didn’t give him too much wild idea because as far as I’m concerned, her games are too wild for my taste.

I have a friend who received flowers delivered in Bridgeport that she got from her fiance and this was the news that I received early today. About love, romance of 2 individuals who are a bot distant from each other. My friend is a florist and she adores flowers so when she received them, she was raving about it and this is BIG news to her that she has to YM me at 8 in the morning just to tell me the news. She got engaged last December and they are preparing for their wedding this December. She asks for my inputs since I am also a December bride aside from the fact that I love organizing such events.

A friend of mine is going to Korea after attending some IT Jobs Fairs here in the Metro. He got lucky and will actually earn so much a month because he is a great IT graduate with honors plus he luckily made it with a great company and when I say great, it meant BIG TIME. Too bad I won’t be seeing him because he will have a 3 year contract and he can’t go home while he is in contract unless it’s an emergency which is stated in what he signed. Well, I’m still happy for him, he can marry his long time girlfriend after 3 years and I’m sure it will be a grand wedding.
