I love Twitter. I discover so much from friends online including discovering so many sites like this cool Fashion site, Go-Trendy. They ship only in Singapore but the determined shopaholic like me, I emailed them and asked if they can consider shipping here in the Philippines, not yet, that’s their answer but they are actually planning on going international so that shoppers like me can purchase from them. I hope they do that soon. Found 3 tops I like and hopefully my friend, Jacq from Singapore can help me get this.

So it’s definite, we won’t be going to the US this July! *damn swine flu* We are scared for the tots who will be coming with us so better safe than sorry. Anyway, we have multiple visas and the US is not going anywhere so maybe we can move the trip for next summer. Hopefully, our plans will push through with more pocket money saved and maybe more days to apply for a leave at work. Anyway, so yes my shopping will be postponed but it won’t stop me from window shopping online and asked a dear friend to shop for me instead. But still, with a limited budget of course, since I still need to save for next year’s trip.

And maybe a sandals similar to the one above. Never had that kind of sandals before. Summer clothes are ideal for a tropical country like the Philippines and all year round it’s like summer here. Anyway, I need to rush and find an invitation for some baby announcements my friend is requesting me to find online.

Can you feel the heat? Here at work, the rule is turn on the A/C at 9am. Doable actually, we can manage but lately, I’ve been sweating my butt off and it’s only 8:30. We can’t go out during lunch time without burning ourselves from just walking in the parking lot. It signals, Summer. My birthday month and my son’s too. So, we are planning swimming trips with family and friends, I hope that will push through. So as much as I’m happy that I found swim wear for my son’s upcoming swimming party, I need to find a descent swim wear for myself, not that I will be wearing one on his birthday, it’s just a simple inflatable pool party out at my parents’ garden anyway but I need one for our trips soon so aside from that acne treatment that I will get before Summer is at it’s peak. I need something like these for Summer…

Paired with a boyleg but the horizontal stripes definitely will make me look a little bigger right?

I always thought that denim, jeans to be exact is the best invention in fashion. Every fad clothing do come and go but jeans will always be in the list of fads for ages now. It’s very versatile, it can be dressed up or down, can be worn in a very important affiar or just a walk in the park. There are also tons of cuts, styles and colors to choose from. Through time denim jeans revolutionized itself and made it in every heart of someone who loves fashion. I am not a trend setter but there is definitely 5 or 6 denim jeans in my closet. They never grow out of style and I find it very comfortable to wear. I usually wear my denims with a tee and when I feel really girly, I wear it with a blouse or a sexy top. Jeans can also be paired with different styles of shoes. I wear mine with flops or wedge or sneakers or even rubber shoes, it even looks sexy and cool to walk on sand in a beach wearing jeans and barefooted. That’s how versatile it is.

I have trouble in finding the right jeans for me sometimes, there are so many things to consider like, the cut, the fit, the wash, the rise or even the embelishments. I like it simple, skinny or a little flaired, slim fit or just the regular fit, i love the dark washed and acid washed but stoned washed is also cool sometimes, low rise fits me so well and my style is no embelishments, just pockets will be nice. This style is sometimes hard to see in shops when I go shopping and when I need a particular style I go at shopwiki to look for a particular jeans that will suit me. There are tons of stores and designers to choose from and if that doesn’t work well for me, I click every style I opted like the slim fit for example and they lead you to a window full of stores that offer that style, all you have to do is choose and visit to find that special fashion you are looking for. Isn’t that very helpful to a busy, working mom but loves fashion like me? Yeah I definitely think so!
