I must admit, I am more careful now in thinking of what to put on our wall. Since it’s newly painted I don’t want to mess it up by just putting anything I want to put up there. Even our cork board isn’t hanging yet. I have second thoughts of putting it up actually. I want to put an inspirational board, a vision board that my friend Faye told me. I like her idea but I don’t know how to make one yet. I still have to look for ideas about that before I start. I saw some inspirational stuff hanging from a nice fabric, I might consider that. I actually consulted the author of a favorite blog site, Ashley of Decorology to give some ideas and she asked for a photo of our workstation and I’m now waiting for her input about it. Anyway here is our bare wall and boring workstation for now…

And I just want to share how I love our 2 toned walls, 3 walls are painted light yellow and our workstation wall is in the shade of darker yellow…

Now our room is brighter. Sunnier.
I am in search for a nice desk lamp for our workstation. Finally the workstation is done and the paint in our bedroom is already dry but we can’t transfer in yet, the strong odor of the paint is still there. So I’m browsing online for inspirations for our tiny workstation while my husband is in search for led tail lights for the car. He is maintaining the Rav 4 and it needs new tail lights badly especially now that the weather is bad and it is usually dark outside. I hope he find a good one for the car soon. It is definitely more important than the desk lamp I’m searching for.
Our bedroom is undergoing a tiny renovation plus we had a cabinet made for my son so we can have the closet all for ourselves, the husband has so much stuff cluttered, techie stuff, his books and all and he is getting the son’s old space in the closet and I will have the larger part that the hubby and I used to share, I want my bags to have their own space and I want them removed in the plastic boxes under the bed. I’m excited to organize our closets plus Dustin’s toys and books will have a place in his closet and our bathroom essentials might have a place too, at the top shelf of Dustin’s closet. The workstation had to suffer though, it became smaller but I’m just too excited to see the wall, I asked that the bedroom be repainted with light yellow and the workstation’s wall a darker yellow. We’ll see how everything turns out after this…

The color I copied for our bedroom…

Our unfinished wall…

And yes, I still don’t know what to do with our workstation wall…

We’re just excited to move in again, though my sister’s room is comfortable, nothing beats your own space.
The carpenter looked at the space and listed all the needed materials and by Monday, he will start building my son’s closet and the shelves on the wall are going down. I need more inspirations for our wall, I want to maybe put a few framed photos of me with my son, my boys and maybe a very nice family photo. I need to dig in my files and have them framed at FANS. Plus I want something inspirational that will be framed and will be up with the letters and the photos. Please help! I so need inspirations!!!! Our space is SO tiny, I can’t think of really nice ideas to make it feel like shabby chic!
Please send me links, it will be very much appreciated!
My parents are having a renovation of the maids’ quarters and I told them that I will have to ask the carpenter to build another small closet for our room, so my son can have everything in there and the closet he’s using right now will house my husband’s stuff since I want to use the bigger space for myself because I have bags I want to store in there instead of putting everything in a plastic box under the bed. We’ll see what we can come up with plus my husband and I agreed that we will be removing the shelves and give it to the nannies while I think of something to put on the walls to cover the holes. Plus, I asked my husband if we can ask my FIL to build a desk for the very small workstation we will have after the installation of the closet and he said yes but he suggested I find a nice picture of what I want so the FIL can just copy it and off I visited Pottery Barn and saw these…

I think my husband will like the last picture but the down side is that it looks so heavy for our small space. What do you think? If you have other links, please link me up! I need more inspirations!
I am online almost 24/7. I need to, for some reason financially and for stress release. Which is why I need to hit the gym 2x/week or else I would need tons of weight loss pills so as not to get bigger and bigger. Sedentary lifestyle is not a joke, figure wise and health wise but who wouldn’t want workstations like these…

If I have one of these at home plus the gadgets, I can definitely sit “almost” 24 hours a day, well except on weekends.
