Browsing Gifts for Him

My Husband’s birthday is near and as early as this month, I am already looking for a possible gift to give him. You see, I always have a hard time of really choosing the right gift and I think right now, he really likes to buy an old school car, which of course, I cannot buy for him but my approval of it will matter to him and I said yes already but still that is not considered a gift, though he said it is which is nice (and better because I really don’t have to buy him anything already) but I saw this rfid blocking wallet online and I think it will be very useful not only for my husband but for all of us especially nowadays that robbery is very rampant.

I think he will love the black one and I’m pretty sure he will be amazed of what his wallet can do and these wallets come in so cheap. I’m very excited to purchase it, I might get one for myself too.

Recent Purchase

I recently paid for an item on Ebay, it’s actually not for me but for my caring husband. His Macbook doesn’t have any battery, he has to connect the power all the time or else he wouldn’t be able to work. I can see he is having a hard time with it because he can’t stay on the bed without those cable. So when I had enough money for an online purchase, I bought his battery and by maybe next month, I will also buy him his mac memory. He needs a faster and a reliable laptop to work with and I think I will surprise him with that.He thinks he doesn’t need one but I believe he does, so I’m taking the initiative to get him one. He’s been a great provider for our small family and all I can do is help him perform better at work, even if it means more take home work for him.

Another Not My Thing Post

I know! Lame title. But what do you expect from someone who graduated from a Medical related course? My husband was talking about a barcode scanner he purchased for work and I totally went blank by just listening to him. It was like being sent from another time and I wasn’t ready. LOL. :D Anyway, he loves their new scanner. He was beaming with delight that they bought a really nice one which was so cheap his boss actually wants to buy more so when some of the scanners conk, they will have a better replacement. I’m sure it’s a delight to my geeky husband to find these kinds of stuff and I’m happy for him but now let me sulk in my own happiness of bags, fashion and interior home decos. HAHAHA… ;)

A Few Possible Gift Ideas

My husband is the simplest man I’ve ever known. You ask him what does he wants for Christmas and he answers, anything. Just a simple answer but a hard one right? Now the ideas are endless. Last year, I gave him an iPod, the gift came late since I ordered it online but he was so happy to receive it since he really wants one. This year, I’m thinking of getting him something that can be very useful when he bikes. Well, he is almost complete with all the stuff he needs for trailing so since I’m an Optometrist, I’m just thinking of giving him new sunnies for biking. Well, I want it to be trendy so he can also wear them outdoors. I found Von Zipper Sunglasses and since I’m on a tight budget but wants good quality items, these sunglasses are just right. They are replacement for designer sunglasses but is guaranteed to be very durable and shock proof, just right for biking right? Look what I chose to give him…

  • 100% UV Protection
  • Base 8 spherical lens
  • Nylon grilamid frame
  • Impact resistant polycarbonate lens
  • Stainless steel optical hinges

Perfect!

What He Wants for Christmas?

I have a long list for myself actually and I find it really nice just window shopping around for myself. Of course, I will not buy everything, actually most are just for eye candy. I just want to satisfy my eyes and I know I wouldn’t be able to buy everything, unless we win the lottery. Anyway, I asked the husband what he wants for Christmas and he answered by showing me a website of cool LCD tvs. He actually wants one for our bedroom. He wants something like this…

I think this is really nice. I hope we can really get one before the year ends. :D

Happy Birthday Dee!

I greeted him already here so let me tell you about bits and pieces about him on his birthday…

  • About us calling each other Hone. Actually it’s still pronounced as “Hon”, but he wanted the spelling changed just so it can be unique. I find it weird at first but I got used to it. Hone actually means, make sharper or more focused or efficient.
  • He is my brother’s high school barkada and that’s how I met him. He was one of the participants in my Cotillion.
  • He had a secret crush on me during our Cotillion practice but I was going out with my so called BF back then so he just befriend me until I broke up with that guy and he took that opportunity. (I’m just glad he did) ::sweetness::
  • He hates English, he is not fond of reading books unless it’s about his hobbies but he is very good in Math.
  • He’s a geek, he may not look like one and he may not think that he is but I think he is. :D
  • He is a softie, no matter how tough he wants himself to be and I believe I married a man with a good heart.
  • He hates veggies but I tried convincing him to eat and I think I’m succeeding.
  • There are 3 things he loves… Bike… Biking… Trailing. LOL.
  • He’s into Indian and Mexican cuisines all because of me. ;)
  • He’s not a smooth talker, I think he is a very private person. You can seldom hear him talk about his thoughts even to me.

I can go on and on and this will be a VERY long post so I will stop here…

  • I think he is really doing a great job as a father.

Happy Birthday again Sweetie! God bless us.

Hubby’s Birthday Gift

I swear I find it really hard to look for a gift to guys. They have limited items to choose from and from my experience the nice things to give them are also very expensive. Mind you, my husband’s birthday will be on September but as early as July, I’m already thinking of ways on how to celebrate his birthday and what to give him. I have 3 choices for now and with my choices, I think I really need to save so I can buy one of the choices.

One of the PS3 I saw online, something like this…

A Nike watch like this…

He does not have any sporty watch actually so he doesn’t wear anything when he goes trailing.

This will be very useful for him but he is kinda skeptic about that chest band that you need to wear, he thinks it might be very uncomfotable.

Right now, I’m still clueless. Anyway, I still have 3 months to decide. :D
