Weekend Snapshots

I want to do this entry maybe weekly. This weekend, I’ve been very diligent in taking pictures. There’s one thing I’m sure of, Nikkie needs servicing badly. Every shot is noisy already even with enough sunlight and the photo is already in raw, still blurry. I miss my old photos when Nikkie was still fine. Sigh. Anyway, I will have 2 parts of this post. Christmas is just around the corner and I’m really getting busy every minute. Everybody is getting busy, I guess. I just love the Holidays.

Saturday.

The whole day was spent at home. Dee helped me take care of our son. We spent the day walking around the house, watching Finding Nemo for the nth time and playing. It was a nice day spent at home. We woke up late, late meaning 7:30 am. Yeah that’s late already, then we went down to eat breakfast and took tons of pictures:

From top L -bottom R: I didn’t put any gift tag for Denon’s gift but he convinced me to tell him where the gift was and he never stopped shaking it and asking me what’s inside, parang bata nuh; Dustin taking off the balls and playing with them, we were telling him to put it back and sumusunod naman, yun lang, he will get another ball and play with it, tapos sasabihin na naman namin, put it back; driving my brother and my nephew to pick up my mom’s CRV in Honda The Fort, while waiting for them ayan kuha muna ako ng shots; Denon inside the van while we’re parked outside Honda; Baby Jesus, one of my faves and Dustin playing inside the van.

Then Dustin and I took a very long nap in the afternoon while Denon went out to bike with my brother then he had to take care of Dustin because I will prepare for my best friend’s bridal shower. I left home at 6pm and dropped by Boni High to buy her a little something-something. My Bf texted me while I’m on my way to the hotel, it was funny, she had no idea we’re having a party. The party started late since the fiance had to do something to pass time and when we told him that they can come over already, they were caught in traffic then the car overheated.

Opening her gifts…

The party was a blast. The games were fun, I won the first Bridal Bingo and I got a Starbucks GC, then I won again this time with my groupmates and everybody was teasing me, na luto kasi best friend daw ako, I won another game with my group again in a Pictionary game this time. I won 3 games and everybody wanted me in their groups already. Funny! I left the party at 11pm and I went to a home with a sleeping son and a smiling husband who was in front of the laptop asking me if I enjoyed the party… Sweet!

Part 2 here.

My Long Weekend

This is way over late but better late than never, so cliche but true. ;) Anyway, I never went to work the whole week last week because of the accident, I had to take enough rest from muscle trauma, the doctor advised. By Thursday, the pain was almost gone, I only felt it when I carry my 14 lbs. son, great thing because Friday was our Twitter Meet Up and the husband will not allow me if he sees me still limping. Thank God by Friday I was okay, still can’t carry my son but aside from that, everything was back on track and I wasn’t even scared of driving even after the accident, the husband confronted me though, he said that maybe I can take the wheel while we don’t have our own car yet (we are borrowing from my parents when we need to go out). Anyway, Friday… I had a BLAST. It’s a given already, we’ve been raving about it for almost a week already. Read More…

Just A Preview

Here are some photos of how our weekend went last week. I’m still too lazy to blog about it not to mention I got sick and is still sick but fever free which is why I’m back online… for now let the pictures do the talking…

Til next update! and more photos to share. I promise! Right now let me just sort everything and clean my hard disk, everything is a mess! :P :)

Weekend Recap 3

First 2 parts are here and here.

Monday.

We woke up early not to go to work but to head to DFA for Dustin’s pasaporte! Anyway, my plan was to go there alone then maybe head to the mall after for some facial and look for a gift for Hubby this Christmas but the man had other plans, I was waking him up around 6 to prepare for work and he told me that he will come with me. I was happy, well my secret plan didn’t push through but I will have a companion, I won’t be lonely! Anyway when we got there parking was a problem, of course. The great part is that we are both government employees so we don’t have to fall in line, we just headed to DFA’s 2nd floor and present our IDs in the courtesy lane window. But much to our dismay, their courtesy lane procedure already changed, they scheduled us the next day between 9am to 10am to appear and present all the requirements for our son’s passport processing. We were there for only like an hour. Then we went to Cartimar and Dee bought some tools for his bike.

We decided to head to Market Market for lunch when we got there it was only 10:30 and most stores were still closed so we just went around until we can dine here,

My Bangus

His lunch with mine and something extra, 1 pork barbecue for us to share.

Then while we were having lunch one of Dee co-worker called him and the office had an emergency so he has to work in the afternoon to solve the problem, I had to drive home from QC after dropping him off at his office and I went here alone…

Got my drink and headed home. While my son was asleep in our bedroom with his nanny I had my “me” time not in a facial clinic but in the comforts of our dining room…

Good times!

Weekend Recap 1

I have 3 weekend recaps for this week because I had a very long weekend and work just started today for me and it’s already Wednesday.

Saturday.

It was a photo opp frenzy. Started when Dee woke up early for his trailing, it was around Ft. Bonifacio camp but the meet up is at 5.30 am. Anyway, my son woke up early as well and my brother’s family hang around our bedroom to play with my son and of course I grabbed my cam to take some photos…

Nate tickling his cousin… Dustin is very ticklish, almost all parts of his body is very ticklish. :P

My nephew Ethan enjoying Dustin’s sofa bed.

Then we had breakfast downstairs and accompanied Denon while he was washing his very muddy bike.

Here is my son watching his Dad. At his age, he is very clingy to Dee more than to me, well it’s so abnormal not to get jealous once in a while but when I think about it, it’s cool, it’s a boy thing so I really don’t mind.

And then Dustin and I spent the day up at the attic while my husband accompanied my brother who had his bike assembled at Ross Cartimar Pasay City. They arrived around 3 pm already and we admired my brother’s new bike which was so pimped out! Then the boys took a rest and by around 5.30 pm we went to Araneta Center to deliver freshly laundered towels for the shop then headed to Bonifacio High Street to stroll and have our dinner. My parents were in Batangas that day to spend with our relatives since our grandfather just came home from the States last week of October. Anyway, we were supposed to dine at Conti’s but the waiting was really long and so we marched to Friday’s instead…

My Family

My brother’s family

After the sumptuous dinner, we walked around, Dustin played with a really friendly shitzu outside Friday’s then the boys looked at the fountains while I buy my frappuccino at Starbucks.

If you will notice that my son is not wearing socks in the photo above, well the story behind it was when we were at Serendra, I was busy looking at Conti’s if there were tables when suddenly Dustin dipped his foot in one of the fountains. Oh my! Ayan Edu Manzano tuloy siya, naka-leather na walang medyas. :P

When we got home Dustin was ready to go to bed and after 15 minutes, he was snoozing in dreamland! :)

Weekend Recap 2

Weekend Recap

November 01. Saturday.

The day was spent at home. My brother drove my parents to the cemetery, Mom didn’t want to bring the toddlers because we usually just pray and then leave, we don’t stay too long and the unpredictable weather might just make the kids sickly so we just stayed put. It was a very relaxing Saturday, hubby and I didn’t get bored we have this…

… as our toy. Look at his expression. Too cute if you ask me!

He adores his Daddy so much and when he saw Dee wore this to make him smile, he instantly showed interest and tried putting the shades on, when Dee put it on him, he glanced at his Daddy for approval instead of posing a nice smile in front of my cam. Truly a Daddy’s boy!

November 02. Sunday.

Spent the morning at home after our usual 7:30 am mass. We wanted to go malling so we decided to go to MOA after a sumptuous lunch at home. Here are tons of photos with stories to tell… Read More…
