Date with Friends

I will be posting food trips last June and if only I didn’t get sick, I will be needing tons of the best diet pills around but somehow I managed to lose a little from having viral flu this week. First post is the one where I had a Saturday lunch out with friends at CYMA, Greenbelt. It’s actually my first time there and I must say, the food is delish. I will definitely bring my boys there soon.

They have great ambiance so A+ already since the food as I’ve said is delish…

With friends like Aggie, Kathy and Joy who talk a lot, I really had a great time just by listening to them. LOL. I can’t wait for the next EB.

Horseback Riding…

… without us. Too bad, Dustin is still too young to ride a horse and too sleepy for us to tag along. When he rode the car, he rested on his car seat, watched Toy Story a bit playing on the in-car tv and after 5 minutes fell asleep. So, my huband cruised on the road to have a smooth ride and so the boy could sleep soundly. We passed by Taal Vista Horseback and saw Amiel’s (Kathy’s DH) Navigator and Edil’s (Aggie’s DH) Hummer park at the parking lot. Hubby just blurted out, “Wala man lang mga puno, ang init! I hope the kids put on sunblock!” But I bet the kids had a blast with all the horse supplies, bikes and horses in the park, even with the heat. Here are their pictures:

Sandy, Matthew, Martha and Olin

Estong didn’t ride a horse but a pedicab…

To have an idea how hot it was during their ride…

And I had to include this…

Bigla akong nainggit magbike, Joy having fun! :P

Weekend with Family + Friends

If that’s not a great combo, I don’t know what else is. :P Last Sunday was a blast, it was short but sweet with so many pictures, it’s just overwhelming. Comments were thrown left and right over Flickr and even if the EB is over, the fun never stops with these ladies.

Actually this EB was planned because of our loots from Glo. We had to get it from Aggie, buti na lang may box or else I will have no excuse to travel all the way to Tagaytay on such short notice kay Hubby. We left the house at around 6:15 AM. We were surprised to see that our son woke up early, we thought we are just going to bring him to the car asleep but no, we even bathed him. Buti na lang kasi ang init sa Sonya’s! Anyways, we arrived in Tagaytay just in time for the 8AM mass at St. Michael’s Chapel, beside Pink Sisters Convent.

This was after the mass, we were waiting for Nanny Irinne to get the umbrella from the car since it was drizzling and the air was really cold so we had to put his jacket.

On the way to Pink Sisters, the drizzling stopped so with his cap and jacket on, off we marched to Pink Sisters.

Thanks Hone, for this great shot!

Asher’s Kiddie Show

It’s my first time to attend a kiddie party with magic show, usually kasi I attend parties only in Jollibee or McDo… :P Buti na lang Alpha, doesn’t have the cam during the show or else she could have caught me with a very amazed expression or applauding… Buti na lang nanonood din siya. LOL. Here’s some of the pictures I took:

This turtle dove is so intelligent, he pretended that he was dead on cue.

And this rabbit who acted like he was sleeping… Awesome!

Cock Fighting at Twitter

I started my Saturday with my online friends who I guessed were all hyperventilating because Glo (our shopper friend from Boston) messaged us that there is a closing sale in Circuit City and that she is willing to look for items we want. I was hyperventilating myself, for a second I thought I will be able to have my D90 early this year, but Glo found one with lens and my budget allows to buy just the body, I guess it’s not meant for me.I had fun twitting with them though, we were like people betting on a cock fight.

These are their loots. I am tempted to buy EHD for myself or that camcorder but I have my budget for something far better. I’m just glad I wasn’t in Glo’s position that day or else I will be very tempted, I would ask my husband to lead me to the nearest exit sign if ever. :P

They Made My Day

I was out the whole day last Friday, left our house at 10 am. Alpha texted me that she was already in Anne Juleth to buy stuff. I was texting her once in awhile for updates. Anyway, I knew I will be late for lunch, I was still in Market! Market! at 12 noon. I just bought everything and did errands for my mom and dad and found myself a little lost in Greenbelt, it’s been ages since I last went there so texted Joy for directions. Found the girls in Big Budhha, first line I told them? “Gutom na gutom na ako!” and so I ate and ate while they talked. Then Thea arrived and ate lunch as well. I had to come back to my car to get my gift to Mikee, I didn’t bring it since I thought Thea wouldn’t come and I was already carrying so much stuff plus my camera bag. Then at Starbucks…

Crazy! Good crazy. Very loud, we were the loudest group in Starbucks. I had so much fun talking to them. There were times that we talk simultaneously but we still understood each other. I never knew I could find great friends online. The afternoon was not enough to be with a great company. Walang plastikan, very natural people. Very nice. I still want to meet some of my online friends in person now that I know that finding friends online is not impossible.

I went home for another party that Friday and I was caught in traffic from Greenbelt to Edsa for like an hour but I never mind, I had a blast. Okay now, I’m off know more about the bacon of the month club. :)

Just a Peek

… of my great company in the afternoon of December 5, 2008.

L-R: Aggie, Thea, Joy, Kathy, Mai and Alpha

I must say, for a wife and mommy who is not going out often with girl friends anymore, that day was worth it, I missed my husband and my son (especially when I was caught in traffic for hours in going home after the meet up) but it is not so selfish to say, that I had a BLAST! Even my husband was happy to see me all high and happy from the meet up. Pinasaya nila ang araw ko. I couldn’t get enough of all the laughters and stories. Ang daming chismis. An afternoon is not enough with these girls. BITIN! I hope meron pang part 2 nito! :)
