I don’t know until when 5 Corners will be testing my patience. I actually ordered this lamp from their store…

2 months ago and until then they are not calling me or texting me to update me about it. I’ve been to their store twice just to ask about it but apparently, they are having delays with their orders because of the shipment of the boxes. I paid a deposit for the item and my husband is already suggesting that I cancel my order and get the money but I really want the lamp and we don’t have Ikea here so it’s either I wait or do my husband’s suggestion and just order the same lamp from my friend in Boston. What do you think?
But I’m actually not sorry. It’s a great buy, Aggie, Kathy and I were chatting one night when Glo was out shopping during her break at work, a hundred miles away from us and was emailing us back and forth because she was looking for sunglasses for me and Aggie. It was actually cool… Glo using her iPhone to snap pictures of her trying out sunglasses then sending them to us… Glo was trying out sunglasses as we described what we wanted and with just one try she got me what I wanted which is similar to this design…

Thanks to dear friend Glo I have one branded sunglasses in just less than 15$. Hay naku ang galing nito magshopping! Wala pang 10 minutes ayan she picked the style Liz Claiborne has that I really wanted. Thanks Glo. I can’t wait to use this lalo na mainit pa rin dito, summer pa rin!
I never bought Crocs before, I always think its’ impractical to buy plastic slippers worth more than a thousand pesos, much more buy my son who’s feet grow by a second. But I really got excited when I knew about their Up to 80% Sale in Mega Tent. I thought wow, now we can have crocs in much lower prices and it’s very timely for summer. So I marched today and checked the scene. I really think the organizers should learn from Day 1.
I got there at 9am, but there was already a long line. I guess I wasn’t the only one who thought that time will be precious here. When I got in… Oh boy! It’s a war zone I tell you. They have tables that separate the staff and boxes from the customers but they didn’t put lines where we can ask for assistance so obviously people (including me) went crazy taking the finest position to ask for our orders… so their staff (understaff actually) went crazy too, taking orders left and right, hence slowing down accomplishments for their customers. I was at the kids’ section for 1 hour and 30 minutes and mind you, I was already in front, it’s like, Hey table! I’m your new twin-kinda position. People at the back were pushing us who were in the front line. It was really, really crazy. But when I got to the women’s section it was crazier. They had to stop taking orders and reorganize. They asked us to form 10 lines so most of the customers obliged, me included who was actually in front of one of the lines so some of us suggested to that woman who had the microphone, that they just put a staff in each line to take our orders one by one to have a nice flow, an organized one but no, they actually had the bad idea of just opening the boxes where stocks of crocs are stored and have us get what we want. They told us that one line will be allowed to get in and after that line is done another line will follow, but that will take ages, so we insisted that she listens to us, we told her that it will be crazy and it might cause a stampede but still they did what they want and what can you expect? With just tables separating the people from the boxes and they are obviously understaffed, people pushed them away, I was almost crushed by the other customers who were in a hurry to dig in. I just hope that woman listened to us, we were suggesting to her a better idea of putting lines and putting a staff in each line to get more organized, it’s a 3-Day Sale, and it was just the first day today, I hope they learned their lesson and had a better solution for that since I bet tomorrow and on Sunday it will be far more crazier than today. Anyway, even with the unorganized bazaar, still kudos to the staff who were taking orders with smiles on their faces. It was overwhelming and tiring for them but most of them, I think served the customers with a smile. And of course, I was happy with the discounts I got. Here are just some of the loots…

All for the glory of discounts! For those of you who are interested, the sale will run up to Sunday. So you can still grab those comfortable Crocs. Entrance is free for BPI cardholders and PhP50 for non-cardholders. Happy shopping!
Can you feel the heat? Here at work, the rule is turn on the A/C at 9am. Doable actually, we can manage but lately, I’ve been sweating my butt off and it’s only 8:30. We can’t go out during lunch time without burning ourselves from just walking in the parking lot. It signals, Summer. My birthday month and my son’s too. So, we are planning swimming trips with family and friends, I hope that will push through. So as much as I’m happy that I found swim wear for my son’s upcoming swimming party, I need to find a descent swim wear for myself, not that I will be wearing one on his birthday, it’s just a simple inflatable pool party out at my parents’ garden anyway but I need one for our trips soon so aside from that acne treatment that I will get before Summer is at it’s peak. I need something like these for Summer…

Paired with a boyleg but the horizontal stripes definitely will make me look a little bigger right?

So this might work with a boyleg as well. Too plain?

Then maybe this? Too loud?
I think brown will be the safest right? And I will definitely get one like this for covering up the suit if we’re not in the water…

All items are from Old Navy.
I’m turning 32 this March and though I really want to forget my age, it’s inevitable. So we have to be concern of our health. Eating right and going to the doctor regularly for check ups are a must. I read so many diseases that’s new to me it’s scary. Mesothelioma and other diseases online push me more to be healthy and to eat right, I just hope I’m doing it right. Tomorrow, I will be seeing my OB-Gyne again for my 2nd Cervical Cancer Vaccine shot. Another ouchie for me but it will do good even if the fee is expensive and that I have to go through a painful shot again. I will be needing paracetamol to eliminate much pain. Besides, we will be shopping at Dapitan Tiangge after my vaccine so maybe after the shot, I will feel much better. I hope to find great buys in Dapitan, I’m still in the process of organizing our bedroom, the closet and under our bed, I’m hoping to find a really nice chest for our albums and baskets like these…

All from Target and these from Ikea (of course)…

… then my vaccine will be all so worth it.
Last Sunday my sister in law and I went to The Fort Bazaar again and with only 1K in my pocket, I got these…

That red polo is for Christmas, we are all going red for the Holidays and that green one maybe Dustin can wear that on New Year’s Eve or whatever, I just love the 3/4 sleeves and its plaid design, that’s why I bought it. Both are from Gap the red costs 250 and the green one is 300. Then I also bought flats for myself for 300 and that anti slippery mat for 120.
… for the boy.

This Spongebob Sofa Bed which is worth P1K plus in SM malls but we only bought it at Makro for P949. The foam is really think and it comes with a free pillow. You can also wash the cover, there is a zipper under the bed so you can remove the whole seat cover.

This doggie that my son learned because of our Twitter party. For P150, my Hubby kinda said it’s expensive but it’s for our son so okay lang. With less than a week stay in our house, it’s now dying! Ayan o nakatagilid na siya sa picture and 2 feet are already missing. With 2 tots battering him, he has a strong will to live! LOL
