I’ve been juicing since I was in College, I think. My dad bought this very reliable and durable juicer from a home tv shopping network and we’ve been using it ever since. Before juicing, we have the trusty blender. Our usual fruits shakes are mango, avocado and melon when we were young. Then we tried apple and carrot juice in the mall when me and my family went out to go malling and we discovered that it really tasted great so the juicing in our family was born. Anyway, fast forward 2011 when I shared juicing with some online friends and they tried it, some now shared more recipes than what I knew. Today, I am enjoying not just apple-carrot juice but I tried, apple-carrot-celery, apple-carrot-broccoli-celery-lemon, orange-apple-celery and I have yet to try more. A friend of mine shared the documentary, Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead and gave me the idea to detox every month, I will try it starting this month. At every end of the month, I will try to detox for 2 days. Will start, dinner of Friday night with just drinking green juice and then eat light dinner come Sunday night. Will let you know how it goes. For the mean time, here is the link of the trailer of Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead that inspired me more about eating healthy!

We live with my parents, we can’t afford our own house. Yeah! I know. Anyway, while we are living with them, I am planning to renovate the room because it is getting quite crowded for the hubby, our son and me. What do I have in mind? Good thing, I don’t have a huge problem like my friend who is looking for basement flooring that she wants for their huge basement. She lives in California and luckily they have a big house there and the basement is a wreck and she wants it renovated. My only problem is closet space without sacrificing too much space in our tiny bedroom, but definitely, I want this space for my son…

I wish we have IKEA here in our country, then it would be very easy for me to do this little nook for the little one. I will be browsing home stores here and maybe I can get a few items similar to this one, the table is not needed, he still has a sturdy table that we can use.

I always want a home with a red wall or anything that will have a tint of red. I am thinking maybe a wall in my office space or maybe the wall where our headboard will be placed in the master’s bedroom but when I saw this photo (and pinned it of course in Pinterest), I knew I wanted a bathroom so similar to this…

The bathroom is not that huge which is very nice thinking that I don’t want a really huge dream house but this space is just enough for my husband and I and I love how sparkly and RED it looks.
This afternoon, the hubby and I went to the hardware store to buy a few items for my in laws’ place and while we are on it, his boss asked him to get a few polaris pool supplies that they need in their rest house in Laguna. I was a bit surprised that he had to ask my husband in buying some personal items, I have to ask my husband why he accepted the favor since it is not work related. Oh well. Anyway, we got a few paints and a few metal items for the house of my in laws since they are fixing a few things for their house and my husband wants to help. Nice that we accomplished something aside from work today.
